"The EVZ fans ought to know that I'm doing well again. That's the most important thing," Di Pietro says to the Neue Luzerner Zeitung and does not want to reveal any details about the surgery, but: "Without it, I might have suffered a heart attack sooner or later."

Di Pietro visited a doctor in mid-December. "For a couple of months I had not felt too well," the 45-year-old says. Then it all happened pretty fast: admission to the hospital and heart surgery. Nevertheless, di Pietro is not afraid that the problems might come back: "My doctor is looking after me." (tme)
