With the Marlies, the Toronto Maple Leafs' AHL-affiliate, Arcobello is still playing in the AHL playoffs. His move to Bern will thus only be confirmed after the Marlies' playoff run will have come to an end. With the signing of the 27-year-old, SCB's import quartet with Cory Conacher, Andrew Ebbett, and Maxim Noreau is set. Derek Roy will thus have to leave, the same source reports.

Over the course of his career, Arcobello has appeared in a total of 139 NHL games (24 goals, 29 assists) for Edmonton, Nashville, Pittsburgh, Arizona, and Toronto. This season, he completed 20 games for the Maple Leafs (three goals, one assist), but mainly suited up for the Toronto Marlies for which he put up 59 points (25 goals, 34 assists) in 49 games so far.
