The forward had initially received a one-game suspension for his hit to the head of HCL's Damien Brunner in the 64th minute of play in the game on April 9.
However, the tribunal has come to the conclusion that while they agree with the single judge that is is a hit to the head, they think Bodenmann wanted to prevent his opponent from passing him by. Thus, SC Bern will have to do without their forward for the first two games of the 2016-17 season. (mso)
