As both newspaper report, there are apparently only a few details missing for the deal to be done. The 26-year-old goaltender has been with the Biancoblù since 2013 and has appeared in 115 games for them. This past season, he posted a .915 save percentage in 48 games. His contract runs through 2017.

Moreover, as Corriere del Ticino reports, Michael Lawrence, HCAP's goalie coach, might even join Zurkirchen and also leave Ambrì in direction of Lausanne.

However, as Zurkichen himself tells Ticinonews, he has not spoken to Lausanne: "It certainly did not come from me, you should ask those who have put those news out. I had no contact with the Lausanne." As for what his future holds, the goaltender says he will focus on this upcoming season and does not yet know what is in store for him beyond that. (mso)
