National League

As Darren Dreger (TSN) reports, there is interest in unrestricted free agent Kris Versteeg from Switzerland. Should he thus not find the right fit in the NHL, the NLA maybe might be an option.

The 30-year-old forward is a two-time Stanley Cup winner and last played for the L.A. Kings. As the Tribune de Genève reported in May, Genève-Servette HC is interested in the forward, so it looks like that interest is still there.

In 639 NHL games for the Chicago Blackhawks, the Carolina Hurricanes, the Kings, the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Philadelphia Flyers and the Florida Panthers, he scored 148 goals and 209 assists. (mso)
