The four players, all of them born in 1996, have all signed one-year contracts. The 20-year-old forward Noele Trisconi and defenseman Dylan Giannini both played their first NLA game for the Biancoblù in last year's regular season. The two forwards Luca Barnabò, who joined Ambrì's Elite A from HC Lugano last season, and Alessandro Zanatta have yet to play their first NLA game.

Moreover, they confirmed the four-year contract with the Swiss-Canadian goaltender Connor Hughes. As previously announced by Ticinonline, the 19-year-old will continue to play in North America for the London Nationals (GOJHL). Hughes will, however, prepare for the upcoming season in Switzerland.

In addition, HC Ambrì-Piotta has announced that goaltender Michal Chmel and forward Roman Hrabec will indeed play for the Ticino Rockets next season. Both of them have a Czech passport but are in possession of a Swiss license. (bsc)
