Founded in 1989 as Hockey Club Thurgau, they recently rebranded their team and changed their name to Hockey Thurgau. They started out in the first league, won the championship in 1992 and got promoted to the National League B. From then on, they only played one more season in the first league: the 2005/06 season.
For their anniversary, they have several things planned such as "25er ticket promotions, anniversary memorabilia, congratulations from celebrities, reunions with HCT legends and so on." Furthermore, the anniversary celebrations will be part of all 24 championship home games and the one Swiss Cup game in one way or another.
