The 30-year-old Canadian last played for the Graz 99ers, scoring 33 points (twelve goals, 21 assists) in 41 games. The forward signed a one year-contract with an option with the EBEL-team in 2013, but Graz decided this summer not to use it.
Lemieux played most of his professional career in the AHL, scoring 119 points (46 goals, 74 assists) in 293 games for the Hamilton Bulldogs, the Grand Rapids Griffins, the Manitoba Moose and the Conneticut Whale.
