The 25-year-old forward Jason Bast is a former teammate of William Rapuzzi and joins EHC Visp from the Idaho Steelheads in the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL), where he racked up 52 points in as many games last season.

Maxime Montandon, 21, arrives in Visp from HC Fribourg-Gottéron where he appeared in 39 games but remained without points in the past season with the Dragons.

Furthermore, EHC Visp has managed to prematurely lock up Tomas Dolana for another three years until 2009. The forward has been part of the club since 2008. In 581 NLB games, Dolana registered a total of 170 goals and 287 assists.

Young forward Kyllian Guyenet, on the other hand, has received a one-year deal. The 22-year-old joined the club from HC Sierre two seasons ago and - despite his young age - has already appeared in 235 career NLB games.

Additionally, EHC Visp also signs the two youngsters Paul Barbezat and Dario Burgener to try-out contracts until mid September. Both players are natives from the Valais, but while defender Barbezat, 21, spent the past season with the Pikes Oberthurgau, 19-year-old Burgener has spent all stages of his development with the organisation of EHC Visp.
