Apparently, the team plans to have two goalies, 13 forwards and nine defenseman on their 2016-17 roster. Netminder Gauthier Descloux will likely not return, as he wants to play in the NLA next season.

Apparently, they are looking into Dominic Nyffeler (will not return to Hockey Thurgau) and Ludovic Waeber (Dubé searching for an NLB team for him) as his replacement. Elien Paupe will likely still stay on loan with them from EHC Biel.

As for the defense, they would like to put Anthony Rouiller under contract but the Biel player is quite sought-after. Seven of the nine spots are already filled up. As for the forward section, Thibault Frossard is close to a contract extension. Furthermore, Ajoie has also made an offer to the GCK Lions' Ramon Diem.

The future of Joey Dupertuis, Timothé Tuffet, Raffael Lüthi, Nicolas Leonelli, Gauthier Girardin, Mathieu Brahier and David Erard, on the other hand, is yet to be determined. (mso)
