The 'Diners-Club Arena' is no more. As of the new season, their rink will be called 'St. Galler Kantonalbank Arena'. Should the voting eligible public approve the reconstruction of the Lido-Areal, the contract will likely be extended until the 2028-29 season. The money the Lakers get for those rights has to be used for infrastructure. (mso)

SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers change their arena name
As the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers announce, the St. Galler Kantonalbank will have the naming rights to their arena for at least five years (2020-21). Under certain conditions, the deal might be extended until 2028-29.
