Medical Report

MEDICAL REPORT - After suffering from groin problems, EV Zug's right winger Dario Bürgler returned to the ice in yesterday's CHL-game against Vitkovice Steel at Bossard Arena (3-2 win).

The 26-year-old had to leave the ice in EVZ's very first CHL-game against SaiPa on August 21 due to an irritation of the abdominal muscle and thus missed the following two games against Vitkovice (away) and ERC Ingolstadt (home).

In order to give Bürgler some ice time after his injury, head coach Harold Kreis replaced the eight defender with a thirteenth forward in their line-up: "I didn't know whether Bürgler would be able to play the whole game. And I was intended to play through with four attacking lines," he explained to the Neue "Luzerner Zeitung".
