Medical Report

MEDICAL REPORT - EV Zug's newly acquired forward Dario Bürgler had to leave the ice early in yesterday's 1-2 loss against SaiPa in the Champions Hockey League. Pierre-Marc Bouchard is set to make his debut tomorrow.

As the Neue "Luzerner Zeitung" reports, Dario Bürgler left the ice during the first period and did not return for the rest of the game. After the game, however, EVZ gave it the thumbs-up: It was only a precautionary measure due to an irritation in the adductors-area.

Bürgler will probably be back for tomorrow's away-game against the Czech team Vitkovice Steel in Ostrava, just like their import-forward Pierre-Marc Bouchard who is set to make his debut for EVZ, according to their coach Harold Kreis.

UPDATE As EV Zug informs, Dario Bürgler did not make the trip to the Czech Republic due to an irritation of the abdominal muscle. However, they confirm that Pierre-Marc Bouchard will be in the lineup tomorrow. - 22 August 2014, 3:05 PM
