HC Lugano's Clarence Kparghai had to undergo surgery

Apparently, his injury had bothered the 29-year-old defenseman during the course of the last championship and flared up again, as he was preparing for next season, which made a medical procedure necessary.

The surgery was successful and if the rehabilitation process goes according to the plan of the medical staff, Clarence Kparghai should be able to play his first game in early October.
