On Wednesday, Gaëtan Haas' (photo) injured shoulder was operated. He will be out for the next three months. Ahren Spylo, on the other hand, has torn a muscle and won't be able to play with EHC Biel for the next three weeks. Last but not least, Jeffrey Füglister suffers from knee problems. He will be able to practice with the team but has to go easy for a while.
UPDATE, 10 AUGUST: EHC Biel is currently screening the player market to find a replacement for Gaëtan Haas. According to ""Journal du Jura"", 22yr-old forward Sebastian Sutter might be a possible candidate. He already played for Biel in the end of last season (17 games, 2 points), but has not yet received a contract extension. Another candidate could be Arnaud Montandon, who is being tested by HC La Chaux-de-Fonds this month. Furthermore, team manager Martin Steinegger also wants to see how newly signed forward Kevin Lötscher is progressing during the upcoming weeks. A decision is expected in around 14 days, as ""JdJ"" reports.
