Luca Sbisa probably in against the Edmonton Oilers on Wednesday

"He's getting closer," Canucks coach Willie Desjardins confirmed on their official Twitter-Account. According to the Vancouver-based newspaper The Province, Sbisa will most likely return: "I think I'll be a possibility for Wednesday", Sbisa confirms after having missed the last three games.

Furthermore, it looks like Yannick Weber will be lined up on Wednesday, too. In practice, he is currently playing on Vancouver's No. 1 power play along with Alex Edler, which could mean that Ryan Stanton will be a healthy scratch. The final decision, however, will be taken no sooner than Wednesday.

UPDATE As The Province journalist Jim Jamieson reports on Twitter, Luca Sbisa won't scratch the ice against the Edmonton Oilers tonight. Yannick Weber, on the other hand, will be lined up and play on the Canucks' first power play unit. - 19 November 2014, 8:03 PM
