MEDICAL REPORT - As the SCL Tigers inform, Stefan Flückiger will have to undergo a shoulder surgery and thus is expected to be out for up to three months.
For this reason, the SCL Tigers have decided to not extend Flückiger's contract anymore. In the middle of August, the 28-year-old ex-defender of the EHC Basel Sharks had received a try-out opportunity with the SCL Tigers and was finally signed to a temporary contract until the end of October.
However, Flückiger will pass his rehabilitation and advanced training within the SCL Tigers organization. What happens afterwards remains to be seen.
