MEDICAL REPORT - As Die Südostschweiz reports, the Rapperswil-Jona Lakers have to make due without Lars Frei and Flavio Schmutz at the start of the on-ice training.
Forward Frei has torn a cruciate ligament during his summer training and will be out at least until September, maybe even October.
As for newly signed Flavio Schmutz, who joined the Lakers from Västerås (SHL) this summer, he is still dealing with a calf injury and is not able to participate in the on-ice training just yet.
