ZSC's Schäppi out, Geering doubtful – McCarthy close to a return

As the Tages Anzeiger writes, Reto Schäppi had problems with his adductors in the past week and won’t be able to hit the ice tonight as he has only returned to practice on Sunday. Patrick Geering, on the other hand, has been ill. Thus it is not yet sure if the 24-year-old will play tonight.

Steve McCarthy could make his comeback during the week. According to Coach Marc Crawford he is very close to a return. At the beginning of the season, McCarthy suffered a shoulder injury that kept him from playing until now.
