Medical Report

MEDICAL REPORT - As it can be read in the "Basler Zeitung", the EHC Basel Sharks will have to do without their forward Brandon Buck for the upcoming games. He sustained a concussion last weekend and has not yet been cleared to play and could be out until mid-February.

Meanwhile, a big comeback is in the works for tonight's game against SC Langenthal. After two and a half year's absence, former Sharks top scorer Thomas Keller will return to the National League B. Keller retired from professional sports at the end of 2011 due to hip problems but kept playing in Basel's Regio team. He now gets a chance to prove himself again on the higher level.

Bad news for 18-year old Andrin Kunz, on the other hand: The young goalie's season is over as he suffered torn ligaments in the knee during practice. Lars Lenz from SC Bern's junior team will join the Sharks as backup netminder behind Urban Leimbacher.
