MEDICAL REPORT - Only a week before the Kloten Flyers start into the new season, their injury-list grows. With Denis Hollenstein (foot) and Marcel Jenni (hand), two leaders are doubtful.
According to the "Blick", Kloten's forward Denis Hollenstein sustained a foot-injury in Wednesday's practice after he crashed into the boards. As a consequence, he will most likely miss the season opener against Geneva next Friday.
Moreover, 40-year-old Marcel Jenni got hit by a puck in tonight's Champions Hockey League game against HV71 Jönköping and suffered a hand injury that ended the game for him early. There is no indication about how serious his injury is, yet.
