The 29-year-old native of Gatineau (CAN) joined HCFG at November 10 and had two weeks at his disposal to convince the club to sign him for the rest of the season. It seems like that he was not able to do that.
However, since Gottéron did not apply for a license for him, Picard never saw any kind of game action and could only be evaluated in practice. Last season, the defensman scored 19 points (3 goals, 16 assists) in 43 games for the Graz 99ers (EBEL).
