It has been an issue since Cody Almond had been cut from the Minnesota Wild's NHL roster that he might return to Geneva soon. For Minnesota's AHL-affiliate, the Iowa Wild, the 25-year-old only played five games (no points) until he was stopped by a knee-injury.
In Geneva, Almond still has a contract through to the 2018-19 season that he signed in June. He will continue playing for the Grenats under the same conditions.
