NLA - HC Ambrì-Piotta has decided to not accept the single judge's decision concerning the protest they made following their 3-4 shootout loss against EHC Biel. They will thus bring their case in front of the SIHF sports tribunal.

The reason why the Biancoblù's protest was rejected in the first place, was due to the fact that the team did not manage to send in their confirmation for the appeal in time. It arrived at 12:04 PM on Saturday, but the deadline was 10 AM on that day.

However, HCAP claims that there are conflicting rules in the regulation concerning the filing deadline and they will thus pursue the option to bring the case in front of the SIHF sports tribunal.
