Rumor

RUMOR - According to journalist Marco Maffioletti ("La Regione"), SC Bern's Geoff Kinrade, 29, is one of the two main candidates for HC Ambrì-Piotta to replace the injured Ryan O'Byrne. The other one seems to be NHL-defenseman Francis Bouillon.

Geoff Kinrade has been the odd man out in Bern for the whole season so far. The 29-year-old only got some ice time in the Champions Hockey League because there is no restriction on the number of import players in the lineup.

As "HeShootsHeScoores" adds, the other name on HCAP's list is Francis Bouillon. The 38-year-old NHL defensemen, who is currently in a try-out with the Montréal Canadians reportedly has offers from various Swiss teams, if he does not earn himself a spot on the Canadiens' roster.
