Medical Report

MEDICAL REPORT - As journalist Tom Gulitti reports in his "Fire & Ice"-Blog, Damien Brunner has resumed skating and is making good progress in his recovery.

On December 20, Damien Brunner sustained a right knee injury in the Devils' game against the Anaheim Ducks. According to general manager Lou Lamoriello he is on a good way: "He's skating and he's getting closer - he's ahead of schedule".

The initial diagnosis for Brunner was that he would be sidelined for approximately four weeks and Friday will be four weeks since he was injured. His progress is also promising for his participation in the Olympic Games in February.
