For the first time this season, EHC Biel's head coach Mats Filander will have to decide which of the seven imports on the roster to scratch. According to the "Journal du Jura", Aleksi Heponiemi will likely be the one left out to make room for Sallinen in tomorrow's game against SC Bern.

However, the good news is paired with some bad. Jérémie Bärtschi visited a doctor on Wednesday afternoon due to a shoulder issue. As assistant coach Beat Forster told the newspaper, Bärtschi will not play in Bern on Thursday. While awaiting the results of his medical tests, he temporarily joins Gaëtan Haas (concussion), Damien Brunner (muscle injury), and Miro Zryd (torn muscle) in the infirmary. On a positive note, goalie Luis Janett has recovered from an injury he sustained during a game for EHC Olten.
