The 35-year-old forward sustained the injury in practice earlier this week and has been out of EHC Biel's lineup ever since.
As for the rest of EHC Biel's infirmary, Damien Brunner (muscle injury) is still considered day-to-day and might thus play tonight. Noah Delémont and Jere Sallinen (ribs, expected to return in mid-October) are not yet ready to return to the lineup.
Miro Zryd, for his part, is dealing with a torn muscle fibre and is out indefinitely. The defenseman is currently in his first season with EHC Biel and has recorded one assist in four games.
