EV Zug's Lino Martschini done for the season

Lino Martschini, the club, and the fans were all awaiting the results of the medical tests carried out on the forward after his injury. Unfortunately, the verdict of the tests is serious: the 32-year-old had injured his anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus while trying to shoot a puck. Martschini will thus return only for the next season.

This season, the winger scored four goals and collected four assists in 20 games. Two weeks ago, on October 19, Martschini scored his 260th goal for EV Zug, equaling Heinz Jenni's record.
