As "Keystone-ATS" reports, the goaltender left the game in the 22nd minute of play after a collision with Klas Dahlbeck.

Robert Mayer left the ice with a suspected hurt knee. Dahlbeck was trying to get to the goal, was then brought out of balance by Simon Le Coultre, could not stay on his legs and rushed straight into Mayer.
The goaltender left the ice on his own but could not continue playing. Mayer has appeared in ten games for Genève-Servette HC, posting a .917 save percentage.
