HC Davos will have to make do for the rest of the playoffs without Davyd Barandun. The defenseman suffered a lower-body injury in the penultimate quarterfinal game and had to undergo surgery this week, meaning that he will not be able to return this championship.
The 25-year-old suited up in 48 regular-season games, collecting five assists, and in three playoff games against EV Zug.
