HC Lugano without Calle Dahlström and Marco Zanetti for the time being

HC Lugano will have to do without defenseman Calle Dahlström and forward Marco Zanetti for the time being. Both Dahlström and Zanetti have suffered lower-body injuries. The Swedish defenseman is listed as day-to-day in the medical report, while the Italian forward with a Swiss playing license is listed as week-to-week. Zanetti has recently been selected for the Italian Olympic team.

There is also news about forward Einar Emanuelsson. The Swedish forward is no longer listed as day-to-day in the medical report, but as week-to-week. 

Dahlström has played 39 games so far this season, recording nine points (one goal). Zanetti has scored two goals and five assists in 30 appearances. Emanuelsson, who only joined the team at the end of November 2025, has scored three goals in 14 games.
