The 20-year-old defenseman left the game between SC Bern and HC Fribourg-Gottéron in the 17th minute of play.

According to "La Liberté", Maximilian Streule did not return to the Dragons' lineup after the incident. Streule had to be helped off the ice, as he could not put weight on his right leg. A knee injury is suspected.
Streule is in his second full season with the Dragons and has appeared in eight games, recording one assist.
