The 30-year-old Finn is out with a lower-body injury and will likely not return to the lineup before the end of February.
Miikka Salomäki is not Lausanne HC's sole injured player, though. Aurélien Marti, who suffered a lower-body injury in the game against HC Davos, is expected to make his comeback after the international break.
Michael Hügli, who has been out of the lineup since mid-January, on the other hand, should be able to hit the ice again sometime next week.
