Already having missed all of last season, the defenseman will be sidelined for half the current one as well due to a shoulder injury.
The SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers will have to make do without Lawrence Pilut for about four months. Signed by the National League team a few weeks ago, the defenseman suffered a shoulder injury last Friday and has to undergo surgery. The US-Swede already spent all of last season, when he was still under contract with Lausanne HC, sidelined due to injury.
