According to the “"Zuger Zeitung",” EV Zug can welcome a return to the team for the start of the playoffs: forward Andreas Wingerli. The 28-year-old Swede suffered a lower-body injury shortly before the Olympic break at the end of January and has been sidelined ever since. The newspaper speculates that Wingerli could already be in the lineup for today’s playoff opener in place of Daniel Vozenilek.

However, according to the newspaper, Dominik Schlumpf — who was injured in the play-in series against the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers — will not be available. Lino Martschini and Nic Balestra, who have been out with long-term injuries, also remain sidelined.
