Medical Report

MEDICAL REPORT - Defenseman Beat Forster and forward Gregory Hofmann both ruptured their cruciate ligaments toward the end of the past season and are going to miss the start of the new season.

Beat Forster, who sustained his injury in HC Davos' final playoff game, might not be back before November or December, as the Schweiz am Sonntag reports. For Gregory Hofmann, the start of the season in mid-September might also come too soon.

Already back in practice are forward Reto von Arx (herniated disc) and newly signed defenseman Félicien Du Bois (groin operation) who both have fully recuperated.
