In line with the timeline given at the time of his injury, Rudolfs Balcers is ready for his comeback. Balcers sustained an upper-body injury in mid-October and was expected to miss eight to ten weeks of action. Tonight, he will line up with Derek Grant and Jesper Fröden.

This season, his third with the Lions, Balcers has scored seven goals and recorded four assists in 14 games. Moreover, he added four points in six Champions Hockey League games.

While Balcers will be back in the lineup, Dean Kukan (upper-body injury) and Thierry Bader (lower-body injury) will not be able to play tonight. They are both considered day-to-day.
