HC Thurgau not only lost the first game of their quarterfinal against EHC Olten last night, but also Kevin Kühni. Only a few minutes had passed when the defenseman was boarded by Guillaume Asselin. As the "Thurgauer Zeitung" writes, he suffered an injury and was unable to continue playing. Asselin, for his part, did not see the ice again either - he was penalized with a five-minute major and a game misconduct.
