A knee injury is bringing the forward's season to a premature end.
Steve Macquat already missed last night's third act of the Swiss League final between HC La Chaux-de-Fonds and the GCK Lions. As "Arcinfo" reports, the forward will not be able to suit up anymore for the series due to a knee injury.
With the 28-year-old at the end of his contract with HC Ajoie, this also spells the end of his time on loan with La Chaux-de-Fonds.
