According to Alex Daugherty, beat reporter for the Tennessean, the 34-year-old defenseman will not return to the Nashville Predators' lineup any time soon.

As Daugherty reports, the Preds will not provide an update on their captain before the end of the season, but it is clear that Roman Josi will not play again this season. Whether he can play in the World Championship is also questionable.
Roman Josi has been out of Nashville's lineup since the end of February. The defenseman suffered an undisclosed upper-body injury in the loss to the Florida Panthers after taking a hit from forward Sam Bennett in the second period.
