The 26-year-old goaltender suffered a lower-body injury in practice and is expected to be out for weeks.
Philip Wüthrich is supposed to return to practice in mid-August and will thus likely miss SC Bern's preseason start against HC La Chaux-de-Fonds. Wüthrich appeared in twelve regular-season games last season, posting a .925 save percentage.
