Medical Report

MEDICAL REPORT - The knee injury of SC Bern's Byron Ritchie, who left the game against HC Ambrì-Piotta on Friday early, is not very serious. According to the "Berner Zeitung", the Canadian will be back in the lineup after the Olympic break.

Furthermore, SCB's David Jobin has left the hospital again and 'only' suffered a severe concussion. The defenseman had been victim to an unfortunate collision with HC Fribourg Gottéron's Adrien Lauper in Saturday's game and had to be taken off the ice on a stretcher late in the second period.

In addition, the "Blick" reports, that Jobin did not suffer any damages to the spine and could resume practice in a week already and therefore might be able to return to game action right after the Olympics as well. Though, if that will be the case remains to be seen as it is difficult to set a reliable timetable for the return after a concussion.
