After captain Maxime Montandon, HC Sierre will also have to make do without Eliott Meyrat for the remainder of the season.
The 28-year-old suffered a lower-body injury in a collision during Game 1 of the quarterfinal-series against HC La Chaux-de-Fonds on February 14. The following medical exams have shown that he will not be able to return to game action this season.
Over the course of the regular season, Meyrat has appeared in 36 games, in which he recorded 19 points (six goals).
