Medical Report

A knee injury suffered in a collision during yesterday's game against HC Lugano will keep the netminder sidelined for a while.

For the coming six to eight weeks, the SCL Tigers have to make do without Stéphane Charlin. He was unable to finish yesterday's game due to a collision with Bianconeri Michael Joly which resulted in a knee injury for the goalkeeper.

So far this season, Charlin has been the number one among goalkeepers playing the majority of their team's games in save percentage (.946) and goals-against average (1.80). As the Tigers note in their press release, they are currently examining options on the market to compensate for the loss.

Charlin will understandably also not be able to participate in the Beijer Hockey Games with the Swiss national team.
