The SCL Tigers without Vili Saarijärvi for two to three weeks

The SCL Tigers won the game yesterday, but also lost an important element of the lineup to injury. However, given that next week the National League stops for the international break, Vili Saarijärvi might have to skip only a few games, depending on the speed of recovery: after tomorrow's game in Lugano, the Tigers will next play on February 14, and February 15, two weeks from now. Saarijärvi had missed only one game thus far this season.

Additionally, the SCL Tigers informed that young defender Jonas Schwab leaves them effective immediately to join the leaders of the MyHockey League, Hockey Huttwil. The 21-year-old mostly suited up for the Tigers' U20 squad this season, but also appeared in one game with the main squad and six games for EHC Chur in the Swiss League.
