The 34-year-old Swiss forward is suffering from a lower-body injury.

Due to a not better-specified lower-body injury, Denis Hollenstein will have to miss the preseason of the ZSC Lions as well as the start of the season. The Lions expect him to be sidelined for eight to ten weeks, meaning that he might return sometime in October.
Last season, Hollenstein collected 27 points in 44 regular season games and then added seven points in 15 playoff games.
