Disciplinary

Both clubs wanted their players to be available today, but their attempts were unsuccessful.

Lausanne HC appealed the automatic suspension against Tim Bozon. They argued that a player cannot get two game misconducts for fighting in the same fight. This was not accepted, and the single judge pointed out that the referees followed the rules. Bozon will thus not be allowed to suit up for Game 5 tonight against HC Davos.

EV Zug appealed the suspension against Nico Gross. They listed several arguments as to why their defenseman should not be punished like that, it would be disproportionate. This, too, was not accepted, and Gross remains suspended for tonight's fifth act versus SC Bern.

Details and explanations of the cases can be found here.
