EHC Biel will have to make do without Mike Künzle for two games. He will also have to pay a fine of CHF 4,170.
Mike Künzle has been suspended for two games for checking SC Bern's Cody Goloubef from behind in the 52nd minute of play of Saturday's game.
As for the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers, they asked the Player Safety Officer to review a high-sticking incident involving EV Zug's Justin Abdelkader. After reviewing the incident, the single judge decided not to initiate proceedings against Abdelkader. The Lakers have now decided to appeal the single judge's verdict.
