The 24-year-old forward has been issued a one-game suspension and will also have to pay a fine of CHF 1,500.
Ramon Tanner has been suspended for slew-footing Michael Spacek in the 59th minute of play of the game between HC Ambrì-Piotta and EHC Biel on Monday.
The Seelanders will thus have to make do without the forward in the return game of the second round of the play-ins. Tanner has appeared in 36 games for the EHCB this season, recording two goals and two assists.
